Are you the champs and looking to make the trades to keep your team stable for the next couple of years, or are you rebuilding so you can dominate for the years to come? Either way, if you want to set up your team to be a contender for the future, it cannot be understated how important it is to have those cornerstone players on your dynasty fantasy football team. There are a couple of factors when it comes to being a team's future cornerstone piece in dynasty fantasy football. The said factors are: age, position, and the real life future of that player's NFL team. So in this guide, all players will be under 24 years old, and I will break down the other factors. So if you want to conquer your lousy league mates and have a lasting reign in your league, this is where you start. QB: JAXSON DART (NEW YORK GIANTS - QB) | 17.26 PPG | 22 Y/O Personally, Jaxson, the absolute Dart thrower, is my favorite young quarterback in dynasty fantasy football. This is due to the fact that he can do it all. He can pick up yards with his rushing like the best of the best, and he can sling it down the field. Right now is the best time to get him before the price increases too high. What many people aren't realizing is that Jaxson was lethal without one of the best WRs in the league, and with Malik Nabers coming back, I think Jaxson could finish as a top 5 QB and provide a great backbone for your team. DRAKE MAYE (NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS - QB) | 20.7 PPG | 23 Y/O First lets applaud Drake Maye for bringing his team to the Super Bowl in just his second year in the league. That is something that no one expected. Alright, back to business; this may be a little messed up but right now might be the best time to exploit Maye's subpar performance in the Super Bowl by trying a good price, because despite what happened in the Super Bowl that doesn't affect us. Drake Maye is that guy, and if it's about winning, not only now but in the future, all signs point to him. CALEB WILLIAMS (CHICAGO BEARS - QB) | 18.72 PPG | 24 Y/O Spoiled, that's what we are with these year two quarterbacks because Caleb Williams came with a fire this past year. Not only proving the haters wrong in real life but also in fantasy football, he went from averaging 15 FPPG all the way up to 18.7. A three-point jump in fantasy is not a small feat, and Caleb’s situation is only getting better. With young guns like Luther Burden III, Rome Odunze, and Kyle Monangai, the Chicago Bears offense is looking truly deadly, and with the expected increase of chemistry with all of these studs, it's definitely within the realm of possibility that Caleb only gets better from here on in fantasy football. JAYDEN DANIELS (WASHINGTON COMMANDERS - QB) | 16.33 PPG | 25 Y/O I know, I know, Jayden Daniels is older than 24, 25 to be exact. But with his talent and still being fairly young, I am going to cheat and put him here. There's no hiding it, Jayden Daniels had a poor season when you just look at the numbers but you're here for a reason, and we all know that fantasy football is about more than just statistics. The real story behind Jayden’s lackluster season comes with the absolute plague of injuries that the Commanders were hit with this year. However, if we look back at his rookie season, you'll see why Jayden Daniels is still an amazing asset in dynasty fantasy football. In the 2024-2025 fantasy football season, Jayden Daniels averaged 20.9 FPPG, and I believe if he comes back fully healthy, he can do that for years to come. RB: JAHMYR GIBBS (DETROIT LIONS - RB) | 21.58 PPG | 23 Y/O If you want rings, then you'd better go with Sonic, because Jahmyr Gibbs is considered by many to be the most valuable running back you could have in fantasy football. The kid is a monster; he is unbelievably fast, super elusive, and can catch the ball like he’s a wide receiver. The scariest thing is that there is a chance the Detroit Lions trade David Montgomery to open up some cap space, and if that happens, Jahmyr Gibbs becomes the best player in all of fantasy football, and it's not close. He's not an easy purchase, but if you can get a good price, there might not be a better buy. One thing to keep in mind is he will be turning 24 this season and running backs age differently but I don't think that affects Gibbs like it could others. ASHTON JEANTY (LAS VEGAS RAIDERS - RB) | 14.42 PPG | 22 Y/O When it comes to having the truly young talent, the answer is without a doubt Ashton Jeanty. He may have had a rough start this year, but as time progressed, you could see him getting more and more comfortable out there. He has all the talents you want out of a star RB in fantasy football, and the Raiders are projected to draft Fernando Mendoza, the quarterback for the Indiana Hoosiers. So if all the hype behind Mendoza is true, then Jeanty could be another game-breaking running back in fantasy football. BIJAN ROBINSON (ATLANTA FALCONS - RB) | 21.81 PPG | 24 Y/O Unless you've been living under a rock, you're not surprised that the great Bijan Robinson is on this list. I could repeat the exact same things I said about Gibbs here; that's how talented he is. He is one of the only bright parts about the Atlanta Falcons; it’s truly a work of art watching him play football. He plays like a veteran. The way he will be patient and attack open gaps instead of rushing his play is incredible, or his ability to make some of the craziest catches and follow it up with gaining yards that should not be possible after the catch. Having Bijan on your team is like having a safety net that can win you a week by himself. DE’VON ACHANE (MIAMI DOLPHINS - RB) | 20.18 PPG | 24 Y/O No one knows what this Miami Dolphins team is going to look like in 2026 but the only person on that team that anyone would want is still De’Von Achane. His speed is unmatched, and he has only continued to prove the haters wrong. Everyone thought he was going to be too small to get a large workload, but he is the workhorse in Miami, and there is no reason to expect that to be one of the changes that happens for the Dolphins. Now, there are obvious downsides to having him, funny enough, it has nothing to do with him though. The question is, what will this new Miami Dolphins offense look like? With Mike McDaniel gone and the unpredictable quarterback future there it's hard to know what to expect from them. Still, Achane is a must-have guy that I wouldn't pass on if you have the chance to get him. OMARION HAMPTON (LOS ANGELES CHARGERS - RB) | 15.08 PPG | 22 Y/O One of the more impressive rookies from this year has to be Chargers running back Omarion Hampton. The Los Angeles Chargers went from having one of the best offensive lines in the league to one of the weakest very fast, but there were still moments where you saw that Omarion was a gem. When that offensive line gets healthy, he will be one of the best running backs in both real life and fantasy football. The Chargers still managed to have a good year with all their injuries, so I am terrified at how good this team could be with a fully healthy squad. WR: JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA (SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - WR) | 21.17 PPG| 24 Y/O The Champ is here! Jaxon Smith-Njigba is, without question, a monster and deserves all the respect. He not only won many people their fantasy football leagues, but he also helped his team win the Super Bowl. Now, buying him might not be possible without paying an arm and a leg but if you are starting a league this year, then you cannot go wrong with picking this kid. We all saw those one handed catches he was making, or the elite run after the catch ability he has. He could easily win you the league and make your league mates despise you for years and years to come. MALIK NABERS (NEW YORK GIANTS - WR) | 14.28 PPG | 22 Y/O This one might be my personal favorite for all WR cornerstones. It makes no sense how good Malik Nabers is, and once you factor in his age of just being 22 years old, it adds up to why he is so desirable in dynasty fantasy football. His rookie year was disgustingly good, averaging 18.2 FPPG. In my opinion, the best is yet to come for him. His extraordinary talent, mixed with Jaxson Dart's dynamic playmaking, makes him possibly the best asset for WR in all of fantasy football. That's for the foreseeable future too, with both of them being able to grow together. PUKA NACUA (LOS ANGELES RAMS - WR) | 23.44 PPG | 24 Y/O Believe it or not, Puka Nacua is one of the riskier picks for your cornerstone piece. That has nothing to do with his talent and everything to do with the future of the Los Angeles Rams. Currently, he has a Super Bowl champion, Matthew Stafford, throwing the ball. But when he retires, who will be throwing him the ball is the big question. That's the only thing that separates him from players like Malik and Jaxon, since both of them should be with their quarterbacks for a while. However, Matthew Stafford has already expressed that he won't be playing for too much longer; he will be returning this coming season, though, and Puka will, without a doubt, be a beast again. So if you believe that the Rams will be able to find a suitable replacement for Stafford that can deliver the ball to Puka Nacua, then you should look no further. DRAKE LONDON (ATLANTA FALCONS - WR) | 16.83 PPG | 24 Y/O The second bright spot at the Falcons is, of course, Drake London. The last two seasons, he has been coming to life and looks like the prospect everyone thought he was. Unfortunately, the story for him and the next guy is relatively the same. How good is the guy throwing the ball going to be? Now, with someone competent, Drake London could look unstoppable. We all saw the 38.8 fantasy football points he put up against the New England Patriots. That was no fluke; he can do that consistently. All he needs is the right pieces around him. TETAIROA McMILLIAN (CAROLINA PANTHERS - WR) | 12.44 PPG | 22 Y/O Last but not least, we have Tetairoa McMillian. I have no idea how to describe the year the Carolina Panthers had, but McMillian had his moments where you understood why he was the 8th pick in the draft. I want to believe in Bryce Young, and he has gotten better, but I just don't know if he has what it takes to produce a league winning and cornerstone piece at WR. Though this was their first year playing together, there is always the possibility that these two can grow together. I mean, Tetairoa has unlimited potential, and for the right price, he is definitely worth the risk.
