Treylon Burks misses practice again Friday (foot); ruled out
Out (foot). Fantasy football: Treylon Burks misses practice again Friday (foot); ruled out. Fantasy football impact and what to do.
By Fantasy Roundup Staff · November 7, 2026
Treylon Burks did not practise Wednesday, Thursday or Friday with a foot injury and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams. The Washington receiver caught three passes for 81 yards on five targets in Week 8 against Philadelphia while managing the same foot issue.
Burks cannot play this week, so he does nothing for a fantasy lineup until he is cleared. Antonio Williams and Van Jefferson are next on the Washington depth chart at receiver. Williams already saw seven targets and 83 per cent of snaps in Week 8, outpacing Burks' five targets and 67 per cent share despite Burks producing the bigger yardage total.
Fantasy impact
Player by player
Treylon Burks
Burks averaged 7.3 half-PPR points a game over his last three contests on 5.3 targets, three receptions and 57.7 yards. He is scoring 0.8 half-PPR points a game above what his usage predicts this season, so some touchdown or big-play luck that may not repeat. His 30 per cent air yards share ranked 34th of 184 receivers over his last three games, and his weighted opportunity rating ranked 39th over that window.
Williams took more touches than Burks in Week 8, with seven targets to Burks' five and a larger snap share. Burks averaged 19 per cent of Washington's targets over his last three games, but Williams' involvement and the foot injury that has now kept him out make his role anything but secure. Add Williams where available, as he leads the Washington targets with Burks sidelined and Burks' return timeline remains uncertain.
What to do
• Add Antonio Williams where available, as he leads Washington's receiver work with Burks ruled out and already saw seven targets in Week 8.
• Van Jefferson becomes a deeper option with Burks out, though Williams remains the primary beneficiary of the extra targets.
• Monitor Burks' practice status next week for any sign he will return in Week 10, but his workload was already splitting with Williams before the injury.
